Covid-19 update .. September 2020

Our offices at Tryphena and Claris are open, provisionally, as of 1 September, with social distancing and contact tracing. But we continue to work from home if possible so telephone first, if possible, on 09 4290 465. Messages and emails are checked daily. Crisis support is available through the Community Worker (09 4290 486).

Monthly senior activity

Once a month on a Friday, seniors are invited to planned outings exploring different corners of the island. The calendar for 2019 includes trips to the Mermaid Pools, Paddy Forsyth’s quirky gardens,  and a ‘blustery winter walk’ on Awana Beach. Transport provided. Bring a shared lunch, tea and coffee supplied. You can book on 4290-962

Over 60s events: Good food and good company

Every month the Over 60s events visit a different venue on the island. The programme for 2018 includes meals at the Barrier Social Club, Orama, the Sports Club, the Golf Club, Mt St Paul’s Estate, Kawa Marae, the Stray Possum and the Port Fitzroy Boating Club. Find out more on the Events page.
